Position Paper: Padded Goalposts

This position paper explains why padded goalposts are not allowed.

Despite these understandable concerns and good intentions, U.S. Soccer cannot approve the use of padding on goalposts or crossbars in affiliated matches

Welcome Soccer Refs

In trying to become a better referee, I have found that there isn’t a central location that will tell me all I need to know about refereeing.

Over the next few weeks, I will be updating this site with information that soccer referees (both new and experienced) will find useful. This will include how to become a referee, information about the latest changes in the law, as well as additional reviews and resources. It’s a work in progress, so your feedback is welcome.
